When I was planning this 9 month world tour, Bali was not one of the stops. I had no idea it was so close to Australia. In the first few days in Bali, we got a hotel ($11 a night with a pool and breakfast included) in Kuta, and started to check it out. Lots of shopping and one of the worst looking beaches we have seen on this trip. We will keep exploring and let you know what we find... it has to get better!!

Got to walk through a 100 billion dollar "Ghost City". It's called Forest City, and it's in Malaysia, 10 minutes from Singapore.

I don't have all the numbers, but walking around the city is like a scene from a zombie movie. I am legend, comes to mind! It's a joint partnership between China and Malaysia. The development was built on "reclaimed land" and over 100,000 houses, schools, hospitals, pools, and restaurants were all built first before anybody moved in. I'm only guessing, but only 500 houses have been moved into when we walked through it. There are many high rises built, and no one living in them. There are schools built to hold 1000 students and only 30 students are attending.

On our last night in Thailand, we saw an amazing show called Siam Niramit in Phuket Thailand... absolutely amazing. It was in a brand new 2500 seat theater, that would be comparable to a big Vegas show theater. With over 100 performers, a light show, a river running right through the stage, and flying artists, all I can say is wow!!! It tells the history of Thailand.

There was no pictures or video allowed so I had to go online to grab some. Before the show they had a Thai boxing demo, pics with elephants, and tour of a recreated Thai village, and before the show we had dinner. If you get a chance you should go!!
